The Industrial Revolution
The Industrial Revolution refers to a lengthy period of time that began in the 1700's and lasted until the mid-1800's. It was a period of tremendous tecnological advances and many inventions that transformed the way in which people lived. The Agricultural Revolution prior to it made the Industrial Revolution possible, as an increased food supply led to a population explosion. Inventions such as the steam engine changed many areas of life, such as transportation and work. During this time much of Europe and North America turned from agriculture to industry in the form of factories. The Industrial Revolution is a tool used by God to bring this world closer to the end of time.
